The expanded "Butterfly Encounter Exhibit" allows visitors to the festival to hand-feed more than 250 free flying butterflies. Enjoy the show when masses of butterflies fly free and land on kids and flowers after their release in front of the Ben Brady Lakeside Pavilion. Learn about the ways you can help bring more butterflies to your garden. Featuring live music, entomology exhibits, arts and crafts, face painting, butterfly parades, food trucks and more. A great event to kick off summer and enjoy nature.

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will return to Piedmont Park for A Performance in the Park, presented by Bank of America, on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. As a part of the ASO's two-season-long celebration of Leonard Bernstein's centenary, the program will include Symphonic Dances from West Side Story and Overture to Candide. The program will also include favorites by Tchaikovsky, including Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variations featuring ASO Talent Development Program alumnus Khari Joyner, cello.

This summer make plans to spend your evening hours at CNC with a side of sunset. Sunset Sips is a laid back, family friendly event and their grounds are open for guests to explore. Grab a friend and head over for live local music, cash bar, and feel free to bring a picnic dinner. The program occurs the 2nd and 4th Thursday during June, August and September, as well as a special performance on July 5th. Garrett Douglas performs June 14 and Ruby Reds perform June 28. Sunset Sips is included with General Admission and free to CNC Members. Mark your calendars for the series. Full summer schedule available on their website.
