Continuing the tradition established in 1976, SAE Atlanta educates students for careers in the entertainment industry with a focus on hands-on training. Students gain invaluable experience working on real-world projects every day.
SAE Atlanta currently offers its signature Audio Technology Program and Electronic Music Production (EMP) program. Students in the Audio Technology Program can earn a Diploma or an Associate's Degree (unique to SAE Atlanta). The EMP program is a short course in which students can earn a certificate in just 3-months!
Students have access to over 20 studios and workstations while studying at SAE Atlanta. Included are analog and digital mix-down consoles by Mackie and Yamaha, FX stations, Avid Icon controllers, 5.1 surround studios and industry standard MIDI Labs. To round off the educational experience, the facility boasts both SSL 4000G+ and NEVE VR60 analog consoles.
All Degree and Diploma graduates are provided job placement assistance and are eligible to become members of SAE's international Alumni Association. Financial assistance is available for those who quality and both full and part-time classes are available.

In this tough job environment, many are going back to school to enhance their career while others seek additional part-time employment. Action Bartending School is preparing their students for both of these goals. Most of the students attending Action Bartending School are college educated who either are looking for a bartending career or for supplemental income on their current job.
They offer flexible class schedules with expert trainers who have years of bartending experience. Three 4 hour classes are given on weekdays. Class times are 10am - 2pm, 2pm - 6pm and 6pm - 10 pm at their Norcross location. Midtown classes are 10am - 2pm and 2pm - 6pm weekdays. For those who are not able to make the weekday class, they offer a class on the weekends at the Norcross location from 11am - 5pm. The program requires 20 hours of practical in classroom training with certification availability within a week. The school offers an additional 20 hours of training at no cost to those who feel they need more time to master the course. Action Bartending School is very affordable offering plans for just $99 down. They are Georgia certified with two convenient locations. The original school is located just off I-285 near Jimmy Carter Blvd. and Buford Hwy. In 2010, Action Bartending opened their second location at the Sutra Lounge in Midtown. Located at Studioplex downtown, Janke Studios is Atlanta's Premier Glassblowing Studio and Functional Art Glass Gallery and the city’s first complete glassblowing center.
Matt and Kim Janke began Janke Studios in 1996. Today they continue to offer both the beginning and experienced artist use of state of the art equipment including a 300 pound furnace, glory holes in three sizes, a color furnace and classes for all levels.
The Janke team offers a variety of classes that will fit your schedule. Classes are offered throughout the year in Beginning Glassblowing, Intermediate Glassblowing, Beginning Workshop, Hot Glass Experience (A one-day course including a demo, followed by each participant working with the glass to their comfort level) and Glass Bead Experience (An opportunity to learn the basics of glass beadmaking).
Janke classes are fun, compact and project-oriented. You will create paperweights, tumblers and other beautiful pieces as you learn basic glassblowing techniques like gathering and re-heating. They offer classes on Saturday, Sunday for one and two day classes and Wednesday for five weeks 7-10pm.
